We have been working with Dr Atul Gupta and the annual King’s John Price Paediatric Respiratory Conference since the 2nd Conference in 2016.
Our brief has been quite varied, initially we were tasked with sprucing up the website and designing a new logo for the annual event. We have also designed brochures, programmes and additional materials to support the conference. During the outset of the Covid-19 pandemic, working with event organisers, we helped with the transition to a digital conference. Some aspects of the conference have continued to have online components.
Logo Design
We were tasked with creating a logo that combined elements of the locale & purpose of the conference, while maintaining a recognisable link to King’s College Hospital (KCH). The typography of the logo has remained similar throughout all the iterations. For the 2020 conference we added overlaying rings to freshen up the design, and in 2021 the rings were swapped out for a rainbow; something that became synonymous with the NHS during the pandemic and beyond.
Used from 2016 – 2019, the base logo motif has the London Eye & Elizabeth Tower with it branching out into a pair of lungs.
Brochure / programmes for print & digital use
A selection of brochures / programmes that we’ve produced over the years. They needed to be press ready and also be easy to email to attendees prior to the event.
The Sponsors and Exhibitors brochure was a mailout to prospective conference supporters, detailing costs and amenities.

The KJPPRC logo applied to a variety of conference items
Website
Ninja Beaver also designed, maintain and host the KJPPRC website. Built on the WordPress framework, the website is refreshed each year for the new conference. Initally on Squarespace, in 2021 we transitioned the site to our hosting service and did a major redesign at the same time.

There is also a sister site to the main event website that houses the video presentations from 2020. Due to the coronavirus both the 2020 and 2021 conferences moved online. More information about the website can be found in our portfolio.
