About Ninja Beaver
Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Ninja Beaver was born upon the battlefields that became known as the Console Wars™. Bathed in the blood of our enemies, the lamentations of their women ringing in our ears, we crushed all before us as we raged havoc on the land with death, destruction and plague following in our wake; and we accomplished this – and more – all in one afternoon whilst singing a happy tune.
Well… ok. That last bout of hyperbole is not strictly true (although the lamentation bit could be), but Ninja Beaver are most definitely comprised of a small, dedicated design partnership, based near Andover, Hampshire, UK, who have worked within the creative design industry for over fifteen years. During this period we worked on the video game titles Beach Life, Tycoon City: New York, Vegas: Make It Big, Polar Panic, Total Recoil and created illustration & design for training manuals, brochures, infographics, flyers, websites, whitepapers and more. Our clients include AlphaPunk, Telefonica, Pinipa, Yakatak, Eiconic Games, Royal Academy of Engineering, Oxfiniti, King’s College London, BlueVia, The Unofficial Guide to Medicine, DR Studios and many others.
Ninja Beaver has also fully illustrated the children’s book I’m A Hero Too and crafted fiction and non-fiction ebooks including Emotional Intelligence @ Work and the Young Adult ebook Dark Matter.
- To provide clean and clear markup in our web/ebook design
- To provide concepts and illustrations that are exciting and fire the imagination
- To provide quality with honesty and a strong work ethic
- To provide layout design with text and imagery that is clear and easy to read
- To try, as politely as possible, to explain to clients that whilst we will strive to meet their requirements that the laws of time, space and physics cannot be broken
And most of all, enjoy our work and to design for the client a piece of work that will make a difference.
After graduating as a mature student with a BA (Hons) First Class in Design I started my career as a concept artist for DR Studios, a game developer in Milton Keynes. At DRS I progressed from 2D on to be a 3D artist, creating environment assets and props for video & PC games.
I started freelancing in 2007. Since then I’ve been creating illustrations for children’s books, video games and honing my skills in web and print design. Oh and trying to get Lewis to write something sensible.

Sent to Earth from an exploding planet… What? No? Mmm, ok. Ahem… After my parents were brutally murdered in a… NO?! Lightning? Bitten by spider? Gamma rays? Power ring? Lasso? Magical hammer? Mutant? Weapon X? Super soldier serum? AH C’MON… If I can’t have a secret origin, then what’s the point?
Can I at least have a theme song? Every good designer should have their own theme song… Yes?… Cool beans.
