It’s a nice, warm Sunday morning and the shades are down. The flat is clean and tidy. The computers are quietly idling away and the television, radio and podcasts are silent. Although we’re busy, the InDesign and EPUB work can be put off till the working week. The Ninja Beaver children are grown up, and long gone on their own journeys of self-discovery. The Sunday papers are being read in peace and quiet.
Sometimes, it’s good to be almost 50.
