Ok, these will probably come few and far and all that, but here’s another one that I knocked up the other day. I’m going to try and start using Open Canvas (the free version) again for sketches. What you see here is the rough and a colour WIP.

If you’ve been reading this sorry-assed, much neglected blog of mine for a while you’ll remember I used to post Open Canvas event files of my sketches. If you’re reading this on the front page of the blog, click on the title to go to the post page and you’ll find a widget for my box.net account where I’m sharing up the event files. To view them you will need the Open Canvas exe itself (also available to download from my box.net account) , when you first fire it up it’ll be in Japanese, don’t panic. Just switch to English from the tools on the top menu and you’re done. You can then do file>Import event file and click on “Ok” to view the sketch.
NB: No I don’t draw that fast, but weighted event files would be boring as there’d be long gaps where I’ve been browsing the net, looking at YouTube and brewing up.
[edit] I’ve just uploaded all the .wpe event files I found on my old BT webspace. Some of these are a riot, as you can see how frigging random I am when I’m drawing. It starts off as one thing and completely changes. Personal recommendations would have to be Rodot.wpe and hood.wpe. For a good example of something morphing rather drastically, take a look at ancient.wpe.. ho ho..
