Yes, two posts in one night, hold on to your wotsits people.
Ok, if I’m to be honest my protracted absence has had a little to do with my MMO habit. So in the spirit of sharing here’s some more ‘stuff’. A while back I did a ‘fan art’ pic for someone of their ingame character, so it kinda gave me an idea. As you probably know I play Guild Wars, have been for almost two years now, and my main has got quite a collection of prestige armour now. Pretty much all of the ones I actually like anyway. There’s one left I want to get for her before Guild Wars 2 comes out and she has to go into retirement, and that’s Obsidian, also know as FoW (Fissure of Woe) aromour. The only problem is, it’s the most expensive armour in the game… the price depends really on the cost of crafting materials, specifically ectos (Glob of Ectoplasm) and Obsidian Shards – the can only be dropped in teh Fissure or the Underworld, the original “elite” end game areas of the first campaign, Prophecies (as it’s known now).
If truth be told, I could have bought it a couple of times over at least by now. I have ten characters, and 8 of those are wearing ‘elite’ armour and a couple have multiple sets… FoW costs around 500,000 I think at the current ecto price if you buy from a trader, and I just don’t get the time to login and farm for them. Jaysus ! Where was I going with this… oh yeh, anyway I’m thinking of putting up a commission thread in the GW forum I go to. Sooo… anyway, below is a digital paint I did for Rugal, who seemed pretty happy with it and under that is the one I’m currently working on – a double portrait of Saraphim (my main) and my other half’s warrior.

I’m pretty pleased with it so far, obviously it’s not finished. There’s a beasty missing from the shot that the hubster’s warrior is sat on.
So while I’m here, you may as well say hai! to the girls…

Saraphim and her Black Moa (and her Black Moa mini pet)

My Necromancer, Sarafina & my Warrior, Luthien.

My Monk, Elessa and my Ranger, Tara.

My Assassin, Ruta and my Paragon, Marisa.
And on top of all that, would you believe I’m about to hit level 70 in World of Warcraft with my Paladin, also called Saraphim.

So now you know… and that might give you an idea of where I’ve been when I haven’t been working…
Actually looking at those has made me realise i need to adjust the saturation on the painting, it’s way too washed out as is….
Buahahahahahaha…..
