Three Minutes and Half a Chimp

Well not exactly half…

More like a sixth or seventh really. The above is a painting I just did for a friend’s blog. Nice to get some practice in at ordinary (digital) painting for a change really.

The second image is a three minute sketch I knocked out in Alias Sketchbook (RIP). Shame about AS, it had so much promise but it’s pretty much a dead app now. :(

In other news, had a lovely day out in Oxford yesterday and got to meet up with some old friends I hadn’t seen in yonks, and a couple I’ve never met in the flesh before. So thanks to all for a lovely day, and we have to do it again within the next year for sure. I’ll have to hone my social skills a bit more methinks.

Wordpress 2.3 is out tomorrow allegedly, and will have built-in tagging. As much as I like Ultimate Tag Warrior, and it served me well in the past, I haven’t been able to get it to play nice for ages now so I’m looking forward to upgrading the site.

/prays it doesn’t break.

Oh, btw. Still finding foibles in the template. The double post on the first page doesn’t play nice in IE7 and images break it a bit in Firefox. Just thought I’d point that out before someone else does. :p
