Well, i’ve had a few days to tinker around with the Macbook, and so far…. I love it. There are a few little things that bug me, well one really. And that’s the disk image application malarky. Most of the apps I’ve downloaded so far have been fine, but for some reason the usually impeccably behaved Firefox is refusing to play nice. After downloading it about three times and cocking up the installation I finally managed to get it to go into the applications folder, but for some reason the disc image is refusing to be ejected from the desktop. Any advice on that would be appreciated. I’m hoping it’ll piss off the next time I shut this puppy down (yes I am typing this entry on it!).

It’s here. Exactly ten days as well. I must be psychic.
It’s now recharging after I piddled around with it for too long trying to do stuff (arrgh.. I’ve forgotten how to use a mac).
I have discovered a few things:
It’s veh pretty
The apple on the case lights up when it’s open (oh my stars!!! That was me in love)
My nails are too long.
This blog is broken in Safari.
Bugger.
So far no mooing, whining or nuclear meltdown.
Will let you know what I think when I’ve worked out how to actually use it.

Should be in my sticky fingers in around 10 days. Not that I can afford it, but ya gotta love the ’sign now and hope to christ you can find the money before the 12 months is up’ option.*
* Luckily for my purse strings, they didn’t have it in black where I ordered it from. Otherwise I may well have done the ‘oh who cares if it costs 130 quid more just for a black paint job and a little more HD space’ excuse…
