Colouring the Sketch

Just a fairly quick colour render of the girl I was sketching the other day. Also, apologies for the large sizes, but everything I post is taken from within the galleries, and the reason I decided on an embedded gallery was so I didn’t have to restrict it to weeny pics.

It’s rough, and I wasn’t really too concerned with the hardware. I also wanted her to be more spindly than I usually do, more stylised. I’m thinking I may just push it a bit further with the hardware at some point, but not today.

Addendum: Thought I might as well stick these in with this post instead of blurting out a fresh one of zero interest. These are sketches I’ve done from just wibbling about on the net, drawing new takes on the people that pop up here and there….

If you’re half as inspired as I have been by these people you’ll be scribbling for days… Art and Art Resources, Lines and Colors, Cre8tivemarks Blog, John Nevarez and Stephen Silver.

In other news, I have been glued to Firefly all week, and Serenity kicks untold amounts of ass.
