Quick Fire

nurse

Just posting a quick hit. I’ve been using Painter to do some work for ‘work’, and for a change it seemed to go ok. I can’t paste the full image as it’s NDA related and it’d give the game away.. but I cropped to some of it to post. I haven’t used Painter for ages, as it’s so bloated. And if truth be told I could cheerfully rip out 90 % of the brushes even now and just stick with the conté, eraser, blender and cover pencil and be happy. Performance does seem to be much improved on past iterations though. And it certainly has more pliability than Alias Sketchbook, which I still don’t think is worth my pennies just yet. A bit further along the path its travelling and maybe. But not quite yet….

I’m Not Dead, Just Resting…

Ha. I wish.

a) I’m snowed under

b) I still have to redo all the files I lost for good in the Great Hard Drive Meltdown.

c) K2 Beta One needs too much fiddling with to get working on here at the moment.

So, watching wallpaper curl would probably be more productive than coming here right now. If truth be told I am also somewhat web-weary. Normal service will be resumed in the second week of Spetember*

I’ll see you on the other side.

ps. I have finally managed to look at the problem with the sidebar pushing the comments down in post pages. Halle-frikin’-yoo-hah.

*Translation. That’s going to be the earliest I can get my teeth into K2 and sort out the css.

Bug Squashing Redux

About to upgrade to K2 Beta One. Expect weirdness.

Ok, I chickened out. Think I’ll keep an eye on the Binary Bonsai Flickr group and see how other people are getting on before I do the deed. The CSS looks a bit different.
